We are born to be works in progress. Like a seed, we rarely can truly see just what we can or will become.

IDENTIFYING ADVERISTY

The essence of who we are and what we become is fixed, as it is in a seed. Our soul knows this, but our humans is often blind to our true potential, as it exists underground, needing to find its way to the wisdom that can reveal such potential. We feel lost, often struggling in the shadows of our existence, and yet fail to see this is where we all come from. Where we are forever bound to and never escape. Woe is the soul that ends the conversation there. There is a sky and such a thing as becoming if we can follow the path, an organic thing, and give our lives and selves permission to evolve, to become.

TYPES OF ADVERSITY.

Lying underground we are influenced by both our past and the influences of the world. A traumatic past adds to the challenge of becoming but does not change the process. If we look at the image, the seed is none of things surrounding it. All the resources we need to rise exist beneath the earth, as do our obstacles and the poisons that can bring us harm on our paths to becoming. A seed must develop roots. To mature is not to rely on the roots of others. What are the roots we are growing attaching to? The wise are never afraid to sever toxic roots or grow new ones. This is essential to a seed finding its way upward.

ADVERSITY ABOVE AND ADVERSITY BELOW.

For a seed to rise it must recognize there is no end to becoming. It is not an end. There is a pivotal thing when we become in which we find out there is a sky. This is a beginning, not an ending. We are ignited in understanding our nature, of being single minded in our expression, of owning the wisdom to become. Our work is not done, it just becomes purposeful and rewarding. All seeds have the ability to get lost in fantasy worlds underground, those defined by the lack of understanding of how to exist above ground. To become is to erase much of this desire for fantasy, as we are engaged too wisely with life to get lost in fantasy.

BECOMING A SEED AGAIN

It is no failure in life to return to our seed state so long as our goal is to evolve and not to hide from reality or forever retreat. It does not matter how old we are. If we have failed to become, to evolve, something is amiss. This is a humbling thing to do later in life. This is often a thing surrounded in regret, bitterness, lost time and perhaps anger or sadness. These are all things to be shed. What is meant to become has not changed. Then we can be ignited by the opportunity to become. As our true nature does not change, we must also know the path does not change. To become seed again is to be able to settle back into the earth, and to permit our selves to find the love, wisdom, and self understanding we missed. This is not a burden to be put on others! That is a mistake. Becoming is our responsibility, always. We must still rise from the underground of our own wisdom and doing. That remains a proactive and courageous thing regardless of our age or position.
